We are a group that is interested in all aspects of digital photography from taking a photograph to using editing software to improve it. It is a mixed ability group from beginners to experienced photographers. We participate in various individual and group projects. The photographs taken during these projects are presented and discussed at the meetings. We also hold tutorials on various aspects of photography as requested by members. These are run on a shared learning basis.
When and where do we meet?
Our meetings are held on the second and fourth Monday of each month from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm in Belah, North Carlisle.
Periodically, and particularly during the school summer holidays we have photographic outings instead of our usual meetings. These are by mutual agreement and in the past we have visited places such as Lanercost, Dalston, Caldbeck, Shap Abbey, Hadrian's Wall, Carlisle Turkish Baths and the Carlisle Christmas market.
